Free class helps adults prepare for college & career paths

Interested in college and a good career, but need help getting ready? Holyoke Community College and the Community Education Project offer a free course to help adult learners prepare for college. The course, which runs April 5 – May 28, meets at HCC Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15 a.m-12:30 p.m. Additional tutor/mentor hours are required.

Students will receive instruction in basic arithmetic, English reading and writing, and computer and study skills. The class will be taught in English in a supportive environment. Bilingual counseling will be available in English and/or Spanish.

This class is for those over 18 who have a GED (from any time) or have graduated from high school five or more years ago.
