Annual breakfast honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.dr king

A breakfast to honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will take place Friday, January 15 at 8 a.m. in the Kittredge Center at Holyoke Community College. Sponsored for more than twenty years by the Holyoke Council for Human Understanding, HCC, and the NAACP, this year’s event will feature keynote speaker Helen Caulton-Harris, Director of Health and Human Services for the City of Springfield, who will address the social justice movement and Dr. King's words and deeds regarding disparities in health and access to healthcare. The Holyoke High Madrigal Singers, under the direction of Mr. Mark Todd, will perform. Admission is $10, payable at the door.  Please call (413) 552-2700 by January 8 to reserve a seat.
