The BITAT Mission

The Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment Team's role is to coordinate information exchange within the community and to provide an intervention/support plan for individuals of concern. This establishes an effective, two-way communication channel where students, faculty and staff can submit their concerns, real or perceived, relating to personal or campus security issues. The team was created to assess student behavior and make appropriate referrals prior to these behaviors rising to a threat level.
