Emergency Notification

Snowstorms, burst pipes: things happen. You don't want to drive to campus and discover it's closed! Sign up for HCC's Emergency Notification System and we'll let you know when the college is closed!

How Emergency Notification Works

The HCC-Alert Emergency Notification System allows the college to rapidly communicate with students, faculty and staff by sending a voice message and/or instant text message to home and cell phones. While the system is active and ready for use, it is only as good as the contact information it contains. In order to send you emergency text messages and voice mail alerts, you must provide your contact information.

How to register for Emergency Notification

It's easy! Just go here and you can register in seconds. If you change phone numbers later, you can always login to the site and update your information.  Your information is confidential and will not be shared.

In case of an emergency campus closing, Holyoke Community College sends emergency alerts to anyone with a college-provided email account. The Emergency Notification System sends an alert to your cell and/or home phone, so you get the information you need quickly.
