The Institutional Development office encompasses the institutional research, grant writing, alumni relations, private fundraising and marketing as well as the HCC Foundation.
We work closely with other departments within the college to disseminate consistent information to external audiences regarding the college, to promote and market the institution to prospective students and supporters and to seek external support and funding for college initiatives.
The Institutional Development Division includes the Alumni Office, Marketing and Communications Department, Development Office, Research Development Office, Institutional Research Office, and Planning and Assessment Office.

Leigh was inspired to continue her studies in sustainability after taking a Learning Community honors course called The Politics of Food with professors Kate Maiolatesi and Don Hanover.
