BS
from the Westfield State, Labor Relations and Finance;
Masters
from Western New England College, Information Management.
Courses
taught: I teach all the courses in the Information
Security and Assurance Curriculum, the User Support Curriculum and
Web Master Curriculum.
Accomplishments:
I developed the AS in Computer Information Systems at HCC. In 2002
(User Support Option) and in 2005 (Information Security and Assurance).
It has evolved into several certificate programs and from one full
time faculty to two. Receiving a $878,000 grant for the new curriculum
and the Kittridge Business Center.
Favorite thing
about teaching: Having
students realize that they can make a difference in our world. My
students keep me young and on my toes in and out of the classroom.
Memorable
moment at HCC: First moment at HCC is when I graduated
from here in 1974. We were the first graduating class
from this campus. being Chairperson of the College Affairs Committee.
Receiving the Federal Homeland Security Grant which allowed
us to buy equipment for the new Kittridge Business and Technology
Center.
