Favorite thing about teaching:
One of the most enjoyable aspects of teaching is that I have the
privilege of entering into a public discussion of the stories we
tell ourselves about the world.
Memorable moment at HCC:
These moments come when students teach me and when I'm lucky enough
to tap into ideas students care about.
Teaching philosophy:
I can't really sum this up, but one of the main ideas that guides
me is based on the knowledge that we live in a pluralistic universe:
I hope to foster students' understanding of themselves, others,
and the larger world we inhabit.
