Each year, the Holyoke Community College Foundation, a non-profit organization, disburses more than $160,000 in scholarship awards to HCC students. Applications are available on February 1, and are posted online at www.hccscholarships.org. Applicants are considered for all scholarships; the foundation scholarship committee reviews the applications and decides which scholarship best suits each applicant. These grants are normally limited to direct educational costs, including tuition, fees, and books.
Awards normally range from $150 to $300. Limited to students enrolled in 6 semester hours or more.
This grant is for students who show exceptional talent and are expected to enrich and enhance the life of the college. Limited to students carrying at least 6 hours per term and with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Selection is based on nomination by faculty and staff.
Awarded by the Scholarships and Awards Committee to needy students who have successfully completed at least 12 semester hours at HCC. Application information is available at www.hccscholarships.org.
