Head Women's Basketball Coach & Sports Information Director
Nicky DiMarzio begins her first season with the Cougars after spending the last four seasons at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley and one season at Clark University in Worcester, MA.
A native of East Brookfield, MA, DiMarzio was a three sport varsity athlete at David Prouty High School. As a Panther, DiMarzio was a 1000-point scorer, setting a school record with ten three-pointers in one performance, and was the recipient of numerous awards including First Team Academic All-State honors. She captained the varsity squads in basketball for two years, soccer, and track, where she holds the school record for the javelin.
Graduating salutatorian, Nicky went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Skidmore College while continuing her hoops career. As a first year starter, she set the school record for threes in a game and was named to the Skidmore Invitational All-Tournament team. Departing Skidmore College, DiMarzio attended Baylor University pursuing a Masters of Science in Education of Sport Pedagogy with a concentration in sport psychology while serving as a graduate teaching assistant.
As an assistant basketball coach in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference, Nicky has aided in all aspects of highly competitive Division III programs including on court coaching, strength and conditioning, recruitment of student-athletes, and scouting of opponents. She has coached nine Academic All-Conference selections, two- second team All-Conference selections, and made two NEWMAC Tournament appearances. As a track and field coach, Nicky has coached athletes to two individual NEWMAC Championships and various qualifications for post-season meets.
Nicky currently works at a local charter school and will also assume Sports Information Director responsibilities for the Cougars.
