The Lady Cougars are coached by former Holyoke Community College All-New England goalkeeper Rob Galazka. Galazka played for the Cougars from 1996 to 1997 and enters his eleventh season as our Women's Soccer Head Coach in 2014. The Lady Cougars have been crowned New England Champs six of the last eight seasons, advancing to the National Elite Eight each of those years. HCC made it's first ever appearance at the National Women's Soccer Final Four in 2008. Holyoke Community also boasts thirteen All-Americans, all under Galazka. Coming off a tremendous 2013 campaing, the Cougars advanced through the Elite Eight into the Final Four finishing third in the nation, the best finish in school history. They finished an undefeated Region 21 season and were crowned New England Champions. Two athletes were named to the Final Four All-Tournament team and this year, with one of those standouts returning as a Division III All American, they welcome back seven other athletes who anchored their defense and midfield. Coach Galazka is looking forward to another tremendously successful season on the pitch.
