The antidote for busy, stressful lives, the David M. Bartley Center for Athletics and Recreation is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a three-court gymnasium, indoor tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, and batting cages for baseball, softball, and golf.
The fitness center boasts a full line of strength and cardiovascular equipment, as well as steam, sauna, and locker rooms. Classes in aerobics, dance, tai chi, self-defense, spinning, yoga, and strength training meet in the large multipurpose studio and classrooms, while the center's light-filled lobby is a popular place for students to meet, socialize, and study.
Outside, HCC's 135-acre campus offers a running track, soccer and baseball & softball fields, and one of the region's most popular disc golf courses.
Free for HCC students, the center also offers reasonably priced membership for faculty, staff & alumni.
