Employer On-Campus Recruitment
Guidelines
- Employer
recruitment will take place in the 3rd floor lobby of the Kittredge Center. Recruitment targeted to a specific
program may be held in that program area (e.g. Art, Criminal Justice, Nursing).
- Employers
will be provided with a table and two chairs. It is their responsibility to provide
all display materials, equipment and handouts.
- Employers
may schedule a recruitment date any time the Career Center
is open. However, it is suggested
that employers select a time keeping in mind the student traffic patterns
in the Kittredge
Center and on-campus
in general.
HCC student traffic is at its
highest at the following times:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday Tuesday/Thursday Monday-Thursday
evenings
8:45
to 9:05 AM 9:10 to 9:35 AM
5:30 to 6:15 PM
9:45 to 10:10 AM 10:40 to 11:05 AM
10:45 to 11:05 AM 12:10 to 12:35 PM
12:10 to 12:35 PM
- Each
company is limited to two dates per semester. In addition, employer recruitment dates
may be bumped for large events scheduled in the People’s Bank Conference
Room.
- Employers
will park in “E” Lot or other area if designated by the Career Center.
- We ask
that employers provide a written request for a date (via e-mail) and
include information about what types of positions for which they will be
looking to find candidates. This
will be helpful in turning out students for the recruitment.
