Holyoke Community College is committed to offering students with disabilities and deaf students equal access to the full range of programs offered by the college. If you are a student with a disability or a Deaf student, the Office for Students with Disabilities and Deaf Services (OSDDS) is your resource to access accommodations, academic advising, and other support services. Our services include:

• academic planning, advising and counseling

• information about and referrals to other college services

Our office also offers community links to educational support services through the Massachusetts Vocational Rehabilitation Commission, the Department of Mental Health and the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind.

In addition, we coordinate all student accommodation request and provide assistance with implementing accommodations in the classroom and throughout the college community. These include:

• assistive technology for college based computing.

• providing services and support to disabled students and         Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.

• online Interpreter request form is now available

Our professional staff will work with you to determine your need for these services. Together, we will develop a plan of reasonable accommodations to ensure that your college experience is fully accessible.
