The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Police and Campus Crimes Statistics Act (formerly the Campus Security Act) requires the College to prepare and distribute an annual report that gives statistics on the number of specific crimes (murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, motor vehicle theft, sex offenses—forcible and non-forcible—and hate crimes by category of prejudice: race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity and disability) that have occurred on campus and the number of arrests on campus for liquor law violations, drug abuse violations, and weapons possessions. The College discloses these statistics annually in the Student Handbook and the Campus Safety Brochure. The Director of Facilities is responsible for preparing and disclosing annual crime statistics.
