HCC Help with logging in from off campus
Here are solutions to the most common problems with logging in to library databases
from off campus:
- Problem: Your library account may have expired.
- Solution: stop in to the library with a college ID and valid sticker and
the staff will update your account.
- Problem: Your web browser doesn't accept "cookies".
- Solution: Change the settings on your web browser to accept cookies. Our
proxy server requires the use of cookies. A "cookie" is a small
bit of information (like a random number) that our proxy server uses to keep
track of you so it won't ask you to login again during your session. There

in your web browser to allow cookies.
