Library Computer Use Policy

Library computers are designated for academic research.

Access and use of chat rooms is expressly forbidden from any computer on the HCC Campus.

Search sessions are limited to 30 minutes to ensure access for all users. Please be considerate of others.

Use Violations

Non-compliance with use policies stated above and the violation of any other Holyoke Community College policy.

Illegal activity under federal, state, or local law including copyright infringement.

Deliberate altering, reconfiguring, or abuse of hardware, software, or computer security.

Violations may result in suspension of Library privileges and exposure to College or legal sanctions.
