Environmental Science and Technology

HCC's Environmental Science and Technology program provides students with a strong, comprehensive education in environmental science and prepares them for transfer to a four-year college or university or to work, upon graduation, within the field of environmental science. The program educates students efficiently and effectively in all aspects of environmental science and environmental technology. Graduates possess superior knowledge and skills to meet the needs of an evolving environmental workforce.

The central mission of the Environmental Science and Technology program is to educate students in environmental science theory and train them in the practice of environmental technology so they may work in concert with environmental consulting firms, environmental laboratories, governmental agencies, and in general industry to help find solutions to complex environmental problems.
