Acute Care Across the Lifespan
Students will research common, acute and chronic illnesses and the impact of these illnesses on patients across the lifespan. Students will utilize increasingly complex knowledge, skills & attitudes to provide nursing care to patients experiencing acute and chronic illnesses in various health care settings.Prerequisite: NUR 180, PHM 181. Prerequisite or Corequisite: BIO 229, ENG 101, Corequisite: PHM 271, 3 Lecture Hours; 3 Laboratory Hour; 12 Clinical Hours.
