180-hour training program leading to jobs like:
- Food preparer
- Line cook
- Hotel worker
Must be a high intermediate speaker of English, willing to attend regularly and on time, willing to enter employment in culinary/hospitality upon completion of the program, able to work well with others, to achieve satisfactory scores on a placement test, and to pass a CORI background check.
A valid driver's license; access to a motor vehicle; availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends; a high school diploma or equivalent.

We are currently working with over two dozen local employers eager to hire qualified graduates.
ServSafe for managers and food handlers; TIPS for serving beverages; OSHA-10 for safety; and National Career Readiness for job preparedness. Includes 90 hours of English language/career preparation instruction.
where & when
Classes will be offered at Putnam Vocational High School in Springfield (winter and spring) and the HCC MGM Culinary Arts Institute (summer).
