Seeing positive changes in students at the end of the semester.
Make theory meaningful with real-world examples to which students can relate; replace "chalk and talk" with learning activities that engage students; superficially cover any material that students can read about in a textbook; cover in depth individual learning objectives that can be reinforced with active learning experiences; make learning about even the most mundane topics fun; keep telling students what they are learning and why.
