Favorite class:

Human Sexuality, or anything with Professor Jane Vecchio. She is a wonderful and inspiring woman. I don't think I've taken a class that wasn't great. Also, I particularly liked the Learning Community "Smells Like Teen Spirit" with Professors Jack Mino and Pat Sandoval. They are stellar.

Meaningful encounters at HCC:

I've met so many fascinating people on this campus, some of which have become great friends. I never had many friends growing up, so the amiability of the students here is both comforting and a relief.

What is your favorite thing about HCC:

The faculty! I feel so connected with every teacher I've had here, which made it so much easier to succeed and feel at home. All of my professors have wanted nothing but to help me achieve my goals. The quality of the classes is also exceptional. I never thought I'd survive an acting class, but it became one of my favorites.

Where are you going from here:

My future is uncertain at this point. I'll be taking about a year off of school after I graduate this spring because I need to get some things in order, but I am eager to continue my education and challenge myself.
