Recreation
The emphasis of Recreation at HCC includes fun, fitness, wellness, and competition. The intensive training of varsity intercollegiate athletics is not part of the recreational agenda. There are no practice sessions and no required ability level for any sport or activity. However, regular participation in recreation is beneficial to you as an individual and it gives you a chance to interact with others on campus. Options for participation include both formal and informal activities.

Recreational Sports Programs
The Sports programs below are offered either once or twice a year, in the fall and/or
spring semester. The style of competition is usually very relaxed and enjoyable. Groups of friends with a common athletic interest may and should organize recreational
teams. Faculty and staff are also invited to form or join teams. The style of competition is usually very relaxed and enjoyable.
