an experience you won’t forget. The long and rich tradition
of athletics at Holyoke Community College dates back to the 1940's. Today, HCC’s athletics program provides students with an opportunity
to enrich their college experience through intercollegiate sports.
The College is a member of the National Jr. College
Athletic Association NJCAA in Region 21 and the Massachusetts Community College
Athletic Conference MCCAC. HCC’s teams compete at both
the state and regional (Northeast) levels. Athletics and Recreation
includes varsity sports, fitness and wellness, and a wide variety of college and community
programs. The department must work hard to coordinate the time
and space for the large number of activities offered.
