HCC has over 50 active clubs and organizations. Students
with common interests can form a club by writing a constitution,
recruiting ten members and an advisor, and being approved by the
SGA; clubs must do community service to retain their charter. Clubs
have access to funds, travel, and programming opportunities. Clubs
provide opportunities for leadership development and community development;
their primary purpose is to help students have fun, make connections
and learn beyond the classroom.
Clubs fall into three categories: academic
, interest , and
identity . Membership in all clubs is open to all students.
Contact Liz Golen at 552-2060 for more information about any of
the clubs, or to discuss forming a new one.
