Freshman righty J.J. Endinger goes 7 innings, earns 2nd win Friday afternoon against CCR.I.

HCC Scores 18 Runs on 18 Hits, Game Ends After 6 1/2 Innings 

HOLYOKE, MA - Batting around in the 1st inning for the second time in as many days, the Cougars (8-13) posted five runs in 1st and 18 runs by the end of the 4th.  Freshman J.J. Endinger (Chester) went all seven innings and earned his 2nd win of the season.

Freshman D.J. Black (W. Springfield) led the Cougars with 4 RBI while freshman Mike Foley (Palmer) drove in 3 runs.  After a 4-5 day on Thursday, freshman David White (S. Deerfield) went 3-4 with an RBI.  All ten HCC batters that stepped in the batter's box Friday reached base safely with eight of the ten driving in runs. 

The Knights used four pitchers on the afternoon and offensively collected twelve hits. 

The Cougars move to 8-13 overall and 5-1 at home.  They will travel to Massasoit Community College today for a noon doubleheader against a Region XXI Division III opponent in the Warriors (12-7).
