The HCC Library will be holding a book discussion and pizza party with science fiction writer Allen Steele, author of the novel Coyote, on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, from 11 to 12:15 p.m., in the library, Donahue 303.
The event is free and open to all.
Copies of Coyote are available now to borrow at the library with an HCC ID.
The book discussion will be moderated by HCC professors Steven Winters (Earth Science) and Elizabeth Trobaugh (English).
Come in costume (as an alien) and you could win a prize.
Allen Steele is the author of 18 novels and five collections of short stories. Coyote is a novel of interstellar exploration. Set in the year 2070, it follows a group of political dissidents and their families as they escape the repressive world of 21st century Earth and head toward the plant of Coyote.
