How to access Moodle

    Before attempting to login to Moodle, make sure your computer has an internet connection.
    We recommend using Firefox as your browser. If you don't have Firefox, you can download it here.

    Activate your Moodle account. When prompted, enter your username and password.

    Your username is the first initial of your first name plus your entire last name plus the last 3 digits of your Student ID. Example: 

          Jessica Smith, Student ID# 123789456
          username : jsmith456  (all in lower case).

    Your password is an uppercase "H" + lowercase "cc" + the last six digits of your HCC ID number. Example:
     
          Jessica Smith, Student ID# 123789456
          password: Hcc789456

      

Important Tip: During your initial log in, you will be asked to change your password. Try to minimalize your HCC passwords by matching it to your HCC Email password.

To activate your HCC Email, please visit MyHcc. Contact the Help Desk at (413) 552-2075 for help.

Learn Moodle

It is recommended that before classes start, you explore Moodle, our Learning Management System, by self-enrolling in the Learn Moodle course.

Please Note

  • Moodle Access: Your Moodle account will be created 24 hours after your application/registration.
  • Moodle Classes: You will have access to your class(es) in Moodle the Wednesday before the semester starts (May 28 for Summer 2014 - Aug 27 for Fall 2014).
