Ware, MA

Liberal arts and science

Favorite class/teacher:

Human Sexuality with Jane Vecchio. She has sensational enthusiasm for the job.

Meaningful encounter at HCC:

Vounteering at the Club Fair was a turning point for me. It gave me an interest in serving on the Student Senate. Being active in the school community is very important to me. I just like to be a part of it and help out. It's a good way to meet people and experience different things.

Why does education matter to you?

Education is the fundamental building block for the rest of your future. I'm very focused on education. I will be in school my entire life. I definitely feel as though learning things is the most important thing ever. There's always something new to learn. There's no harm in learning things.

What is your favorite thing about HCC?

The greenhouse and garden. I took a botany class. I'm really good at botany and plant science.

Where are you going from here?

I plan to study pre-med at either UMass-Amherst, Westfield or maybe even somewhere farther. I do plan to go to medical school and become a thoracic surgeon.
