HFN 145: Beginning Yoga
Yoga is the bringing together of body, mind, and spirit. Learn to calm your mind; strengthen, stretch, and tone your body; and free your spirit. The class includes meditation, gentle warm-ups, yoga postures, breathing practices, and deep relaxation. You'll learn how to reduce stress, increase your concentration, and be more compassionate to yourself and others. No prior experience necessary.
A yoga class that includes vigorous movement and longer holding of postures. You'll have an opportunity to learn different vinyasas (yoga flows) and more advanced pranayama (breathing practices).
