Are you interested in Nursing? At Holyoke Community College you will find a variety of supportive services if you are pursuing a career in nursing or are currently enrolled in the nursing programs.
The purpose of the NSP is to give quality advising and support to students intent on pursuing a career in nursing. We are strongly attached to the Foundation of Health Program and disseminate information through class visits, advising and monthly information sessions. NSP also strives to better reflect our community in regard to language, ethnicity and culture.
For currently enrolled students, the NSP offers:
If you are declared a Foundation of Health major at HCC, you most likely are being advised by someone affiliated with the NSP already. At the information sessions and advising appointments, you are working with folks to determine the best path for you. Once you are actually in either the PN or the ADN program, Nursing Success sponsors specific events that strive to meet the needs of your particular class. NSP sponsors an alumni event each spring during which relationships are encouraged between current nursing students and HCC nursing alumnae.
Extended academic year-End of August through June, Monday through Friday 9am-4:30pm. NSP is located in Marieb Building, Room 138.
