Veterans

Welcome to Holyoke Community College! HCC is home to an active community of student, faculty, and staff veterans. Our veteran's center, The Bunker, provides a place for vets to study, socialize, and share their experiences.

HCC's Veteran Services helps military personnel and veterans apply for GI Bill benefits, state-sponsored programs, and other programs available through the Veterans Administration and the state. Our Veteran Services coordinator works to ensure that veterans, reservists, disabled veterans, and dependents of deceased veterans are aware of the Massachusetts tuition waiver and the educational benefits available through the Veterans Administration.

Above all, HCC strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for our veteran students. Through HCC's annual Veteran's Day service, student activities such as Help Our Troops, and the college's Thank a Veteran board outside the Welcome Center, HCC honors its vets and active duty personnel and recognizes their contribution to our college and our community.
