The Bunker is a student resource center and study lounge for any currently enrolled student with military experience. The area is organized by military or veteran student volunteers, called CQ's (Charge of Quarters), and is open only to military or veteran students as a quiet study space or meeting area. Provided in the area are computer workstations, tables and chairs, a printer, wifi, and small kitchenette. Located in Frost 149. Hours during the academic year are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Closed for the summer and winter breaks. 

Resource Center

Free materials from area veteran organizations are available and regular scheduled visits from local agencies take place throughout the academic year. Also provided is information about HCC resources, departments, and a staff directory. Student volunteers and a federal work study position manage the space and keep all information up to date. Any student with military experience can apply to volunteer by picking up an application in Student Activities, Donahue 103 or downloading it here.  

Study Lounge

The Bunker is located in the Criminal Justice department hallway on the 1st floor of the Frost building. With classrooms next door, the space is a designated "quiet zone." Comfortable chairs and work tables are available.

Meeting Space

Tables and chairs for 15, as well as scheduled visits from HCC staff, faculty, advisors, and community organizations create the perfect atmosphere for a casual conversation or meeting.
