Theater Auditions

DATE: Wednesday, February 14, 2018

TIME: 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

LOCATION: Leslie Phillips Theater, Fine & Performing Arts Building

The HCC Theater Dept. will hold auditions for its Spring 2018 production, "An Enemy of the People," by Henrik Ibsen, Wed., Feb. 14, 4 to 7 p.m., and Thurs., Feb. 15, i2-5 p.m., n the Leslie Phillips Theater, HCC Fine & Performing Arts Building.  

The play is being directed by Tom Geha.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Copies are available in the FPA Greenroom.

More than 10 acting roles are available. No experience is necessary.

There will be possible callbacks on Friday, Feb. 16, 2-5 p.m. 

Performances will be held Thursday-Saturday, April 19-22, at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on Sat., April 22,  at 2 p.m.

About the play:

Power. Money. Morality. In a tight-knit community, a shocking discovery comes to light and threatens the lifeblood of the town. Will a report of dangerously polluted waters be enough to shut down the baths the town relies upon for its tourist trade? Henrik Ibsen weighs the cost of public health versus a town's livelihood in "An Enemy of the People."
