'Awakenings'
In recognition of Black History Month, HCC presents "Awakenings" the first of three films from the acclaimed documentary series "Eyes on the Prize" about the Civil Rights Movement, Thursday, Feb. 9, at 1 p.m. in room 301 of the Kittredge Center for Business and Workforce Development.
"Awakenings" focuses on the years 1954-1956 and chronicles the murder of Emmett Till in Mississippi and the Montgomeroy bus boycott in Alabama.
