Healing & Prayer for Victims of Mass Shootings
The HCC religious clubs (Christian, Jewish, Islam and Baha'i) invite you to an on-campus and virtual healing and prayer devotional dedicated to victims—and the families of victims—of mass shootings.
Our guest speaker today will be Rebecca Passa, an estate-planning lawyer in Easthampton. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, her family first met members of the Baháʼí faith when her father attended a presentation by the NAACP at a church in New Hampshire. As new Baháʼís, Rebecca and her family moved to a small town in Central Vermont to get to know the locals, hear their concerns, and share with them the ideals of unity and community building. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where she studied religion along with the French and Arabic languages. She also holds a J.D.from what is now Western New England University/School of Law.
