'Ugly Lies the Bone'
The HCC Theater Department will present its Spring 2019 production of "Ugly Lies the Bone," by Lindsey Ferrentino, April 25-27 at 7:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sat., April 27.
All performances are in the Leslie Phillips Theater, Fine & Performing Arts Building
The Friday, April 26, show will be ASL-interpreted.
"Ugly Lies the Bone" is about Jess, a newly discharged soldier, returns to her Florida hometown, bringing vivid memories of battle in Afghanistan - and painful burns that have left her physically and emotionally scarred. Through the use of virtual reality video game therapy, she builds a breathtaking new world where she can escape her pain, helping her restore her relationships, her life and herself.
