Zooming Through a Remote World: Strategies for Remote Learning & Living

Thomas Rachele '97, director of humanities for Springfield Publics Schools, will provide tips and tricks for Zoom to make life easier and your time on screen more effective and less stressful. In addition, he will provide information on setting work/home boundaries to separate work from home while you work from home.

Maureen Babineau '00, independent educational consultant, works collaboratively with institutional colleagues to support students in recovery and build recovery friendly campus cultures and communities where students can grow, thrive, and persist. She has a wide array of experience in higher education including teaching, research, assessment, coaching, advising, and consulting on student success initiatives. Maureen will provide opportunities to reflect on our pre-pandemic work life and recreating, reconnecting, and maintaining meaningful relationships in a remote world.

Saturday, April 17, 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Self Care With Kim

Kim Monson '01 is a licensed clinical social worker and an adjunct faculty of social work at Westfield State University. While social distancing and remote working and schooling are necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-19, they can make us feel isolated and lonely. It is natural to feel stress, anxiety, grief, and worry during this pandemic. Kim will help with identifying the effects of stress and healthy ways to manage it.
