HCC's Testing & Workforce Certification Center offers two high school equivalency exam options: the GED and the HiSET.

The GED test consists of 4 subjects: The HiSET test consists of 5 subjects:
  1. Reasoning Through Language Arts
  2. Mathematical Reasoning
  3. Social Studies
  4. Science

need to know

On the day of your test, please bring a government-issued photo/signature ID (like a driver's license or passport).

Your personal belongings will be stored in a locker during the test. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Coats, hats, and scarves
  • Cell phones
  • Calculators
  • Electronic devices
  • Watches/FitBits
  • Books
  • Papers
  • Food and drink

The testing center will provide everything you'll need in order to take the test.

The testing center is located in room 204 of the Kittredge Center. Please park in Lot D.

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
