Athletics are Back!
Cougar Teams Return to Action
The Holyoke Community College athletic teams are ready to get back into action after a long hiatus. Having been shut down for well over a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cougars are gearing up for a return to competition.
Fall sports, getting their seasons underway in September, include women's soccer, men's soccer, volleyball and cross-country. Women's soccer opens play with a pair of games on Labor Day weekend while men's soccer and volleyball get their campaigns started in mid-September. Cross-Country will begin competition on a date to be determined. Fall sports begin practices in late August. Winter sports start playing their games in October and include women's and men's basketball. Both of the hoop teams begin practice in October with season opening games late in the month.
Athletes, coaches, parents and fans are excited to see athletics back. Let's go Cougars!
