Volleyball Victorious on Road
Lady Cougars Strong in Regional Win
(Worcester, MA) - Women's volleyball travelled to Quinsigamond CC on Tuesday evening, earning a convincing win over their regional opponent. The Lady Cougars were dominant in the victory, winning all three sets while also keeping their opposition to single digits in all three.
Holyoke played outstanding defensively and hit the ball extremely well. Second-year outside hitter Mayouri Yath (Cambodia / Amherst Regional HS) led the way for the Cougars with her consistent play and exceptional serves. First-year outside hitter Maria Mishol (Hartford, CT / Longmeadow HS) had a strong game and led the team in points and digs.
Women's volleyball improves to 1-4 overall and regionally with the win. They travel for a tri-match on Saturday before hosting Bristol CC at the Bartley Center on Monday, September 26th at 6:30pm. Let's go Cougars!
