Women's Soccer Scores Another Win
Lady Cougars on a Roll
(Holyoke, MA) - The Lady Cougars won their fifth consecutive game on Saturday, defeating regional opponent Bristol CC by a 6-0 score. Holyoke is 3-0-0, with three shutouts, in games played against New England regional opponents this season.
Reilly Jodoin (South Hadley, MA / South Hadley HS) led the way on the score sheet, potting three goals for her second hat trick of the season. Jodoin now has nine goals this year and is the leading scorer for the Cougars. Natalie Galindo (Chicopee, MA / Chicopee Comprehensive) scored two spectacular goals, including a brilliant free kick from 40 yards out, while also adding an assist. Jennifer Galindo (South Hadley, MA / Chicopee Comprehensive) scored a goal while assisting on two others and Allison Zollo (Monson, MA / Monson HS) tallied two assists. MyKaela O'Connell (Brimfield, MA / Palmer HS) made one magnificent save on way to her fourth shutout of the season. McKenzie Wilson (South Hadley, MA / Smith Academy) played very well in the victory.
The Lady Cougars will play back-to-back New England regional games mid-week as they host Quinsigamond CC this Tuesday at 4 p.m. before traveling to Bunker Hill CC on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. start. Let's go Cougars!
