Women’s Volleyball Season Underway
Volleyball is Back in Sport’s Birthplace
(Haverhill, MA) - The Lady Cougars volleyball team hit the court this past week, playing a regional contest at Northern Essex CC to open their season. The Cougars are under the guidance of first year head coach Dallas Jackson who has prepared her team exceptionally in the early part of the campaign.
Holyoke put forth a strong performance in their opener against one of the New England region's strongest teams with several Lady Cougar athletes playing extremely well. Coach Jackson was impressed with her team in their first game of the season and commended all of her players for their outstanding effort.
The Lady Cougars will host a pair of regional games at the Bartley Center during the second week of October. On Tuesday, October 9, Holyoke hosts Bunker Hill CC at 7pm and on Thursday, October 11, the Cougars host Northern Essex CC at 7pm. Let's go Cougars!
