HCC Athletic Department Hosts Cross Country Championships
NJCAA Division III Nationals a Success
(Westfield, MA) - This past Saturday, the 2018 Division III NJCAA National Cross Country Championships were hosted by the HCC Athletic Department at Stanley Park in Westfield, MA. This is the second straight year that the Cougar Athletic Department has hosted the national event and they will host again in 2019.
The 2018 event was a great success as athletes from all over the country competed amidst the intermittent rain. The men competed first in an 8K run, followed by the women, who ran a 5K. An awards ceremony closed out the championship with teams and individuals receiving awards.
