The checklists below will help you determine what you need with you when you attend a lab.
FSA ID Checklist
❏ You will need access to a valid email address
❏ You will be asked to create a memorable and unique username between 6 and 30 characters (no special characters)
❏ You will be asked to create a memorable password between 8 and 30 characters (containing at least three of the following: one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one number, or one special character)
❏ You will need to enter your social security number, date of birth, first name, middle initial, and last name (as it appears on your social security card)
❏ You will need to enter your mailing address
❏ You will need to set up four security questions, including two you create yourself
❏ We also recommend creating a unique eight-digit code
❏ We strongly suggest providing a reliable mobile phone number with texting capabilities

FAFSA Checklist
❏ Your FSA ID: see above
❏ Your social security number and your parent's social security number if you are providing parental information
❏ Your alien registration number if applicable
❏ Federal tax information or tax returns including IRS W-2 information, for yourself (and spouse, if you are married), and for your parents if you are providing parental information.
- If you are filling out the 2023-2024 FAFSA, you will need 2021 tax information.
❏ Records of untaxed income, such as child support received, interest income, and veterans' non-educational benefits, for yourself (and spouse, if you are married), and for your parents if you are providing parental information
❏ Information on cash; savings and checking account balances; investments, including rental properties; and business and farm assets for yourself (and spouse, if you are married), and for your parents if you are providing parental information
HCC's Financial Aid Office encourages those students who are providing parental information to be accompanied by at least one parent.

Loan Requirement Checklist
❏ Your verified FSA ID login information. You must be able to access your FSA ID to complete the Entrance Counseling and Loan Agreement/MPN.
HCC Online Services Checklist
❏ You will need your HCC ID: Your nine-digit HCC ID number located on your HCC ID card, and PIN: Default/temporary pin is: An uppercase "H" + lowercase "cc" + the last six digits of your HCC ID number. For example, if the last six digits of your HCC ID are 123456, your password would be Hcc123456.
