Assistive Technology Center
The Assistive Technology Center offers assessment, training, and access to a variety of academic computing programs. Registry with Perkins Talking Book Library, BookShare, Learning Ally, and direct publisher requests for electronic texts can be arranged through the Assistive Technology Center or through your OSDDS Specialist. Students may meet with our Assistive Technology Specialist to obtain information on these services.
Open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and by appointment in the evening, the center is located in DON 151. Online students can schedule telephone appointments by calling 413.552.2156.
The Assistive Technology Center helps students access and learn how to use the following adaptive software, including but not limited to:
- Read Write
- Dragon Naturally Speaking
- Zoomtext Keyboard
