Hi-Set Program

The Hi-Set program is an extensive study and preparation in the five required sections for the HiSet - Math, Science, Language Arts Writing, Language Arts Reading and Social Studies. Active and consistent participation is essential for success.  Administrative support will be provided to complete the Hi-Set exam registration and schedule, plus assistance with ordering official transcripts and diploma copies.

Hi-Set Program Information:
  • Must be a Massachusetts Resident
  • Fee: Free of charge (if receiving SNAP, TAFDC or other benefits).
  • Length: Varies depending on the individual
  • Instruction: 100% Online

CDL-B Program

  • Instruction: Hybrid- In Class & On Road
  • Length: Varies depending on the individual
  • Requirement: 18+ yrs old, High School Diploma/Hi-Set, Massachusetts Resident, Driver's License, Clean Driving Record, CORI/SORI check, Drug Screening, Fully COVID-19 Vaccinated.
  • Employment Search: Upon successful completion, students will be given resources to help find employment in the CDL-B driving field.

CDL-B Program Description:

The CDL-B program is a combination of independent study, yard practice and on-road training components in preparation for the Massachusetts CDL Class B skills exam with the MA State Police CDL Division. The Class B CDL license allows for driving smaller commercial vehicles such as box, dump and oil trucks. Prospective students must be at least 18 years old, have earned at least a high school diploma, GED or HiSet, complete basic math and reading assessments, provided at least 3 years of clear RMV driving record, pass the DOT physical and submit documentation of compliance with current local vaccination protocols. The Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement (Bus) course enables participants to operate a passenger bus for public transit, shuttle service, or motor coach company. The Passenger & School Bus endorsement permits operation of a school bus. Administrative support and structured employment search are also included.
