Drawing on myriad sources, this database gives voice to the African American experience from its African origins to the present day. This vast and accessible database covers history, biographies, literature, arts, music, popular culture, folklore, business, slavery, the struggle for civil rights, politics, sports, education, science, and other themes. The African American Experience is regularly updated with new content, additional documents, and innovative multimedia. Contains primary documents, including slave narratives, speeches, court cases, quotations, advertisements, statistics, and other documentation.

AnthroSource

AnthroSource offers access to backfiles of up to 100 years, as well as current content from American Anthropological Association's 32 anthropological publications.

Gender Studies Collection

This collection of journals aims to provide balanced coverage of this significant aspect of our culture, covering such topics as gender studies, family and marital issues, health aspects and many more.

Latino American Experience

This database focuses on the history and culture of Latinos living in the United States spanning from the pre-Columbian Indigenous civilizations of the Americas, through the Spanish and Mexican settlement of much of what is now the United States, to the triumphs and challenges facing present-day U.S. Latinos. It Features more than 150 full-text book titles, 1500 images, hundreds of primary documents, Spanish-language content, a Timeline, and 225 vetted web sites. It includes the history, culture, and customs of the people of Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Iberian Peninsula.

Sociological Collection

This database provides coverage of more than 500 full text journals, including nearly 500 peer-reviewed titles. Sociological Collection offers information in all areas of sociology, including social behavior, human tendencies, interaction, relationships, community development, culture and social structure.

Statista

Statista provides statistical data from thousands of institutions and sources. It provides access to data from market and opinion research institutions, as well as from business organizations and government agencies. Statista includes data on more than 85,000 topics from 18,000 sources. About 20 percent of the total data in Statista comes from sources available free online, such as the World Bank and the U.S. Census, but the data also includes numerous exclusive sources which include industry, marketing, and trade groups. Much of the data is related to marketing, demographic, government and industry information, and is international in scope. Data can be downloaded in JPG, PowerPoint and Excel.
