Theater Auditions
The show is a production of three short plays, each directed by an HCC Theater alum.
The HCC Theater Department will be holding auditions for its fall production, Arranged, Proposed, Overruled!, Sept. 16 and Sept. 17, from 3-6 p.m. in the Lesliie Phillips Theater (second floor of Fine & Performing Arts Building).
Arranged, Proposed, Overruled! is a production of three short plays, each directed by an HCC Theater alum:
The Proposal, by Anton Chekhov, directed by Denise Boutin '77;
A Marriage has been Arranged, by Alfred Sutro directed by Michael Pray '09; and
Overruled, by George Bernard Shaw, directed by Gabriel CiFuentes '18
Auditions will consist of cold readings. Auditioners do not need to prepare monologues.
Anyone is welcome to audition.
Callbacks will be held Friday, Sept. 18, from 3-6 p.m.
Performance dates are Nov. 18-21, 2026.
