Disc Golf

Welcome to HCC's disc golf course!

Print a scorecard with the course layout and hole lengths.

Explore the course in photos and videos below. Photos are shot from the tee and about halfway down the fairway for each hole. The tee box areas are indicated by two 4-inch brick pavers set five feet apart. The baskets are just visible near the center of most photos. White arrows near each basket point toward the next tee. All holes are par 3 unless otherwise noted.

The following are rules governing the course at HCC. For a complete review of the official rules of Disc Golf, see the PDGA website. All of the targets on the HCC course are Innova DISCatcher Pros. Their bright yellow rims make them easy to see – and easy to hit.

All holes are par 3 unless otherwise noted.

Please respect all pedestrians and vehicles; wait until the area is clear before you throw.

Out-of-bounds areas are:

  • All pavement
  • The running track and soccer field
  • Water

Be aware that there might be poison ivy in certain areas.

Please help keep our course clean.

Scorecards are available at the main desk in the Bartley Center. They include the course layout and distances to each target.

    hole 1 (276 ft.)

The course begins with a challenging short shot through a grove of tightly spaced trees, past some treacherous out-of-bounds areas. The polehole is nestled at the bottom of a steep hill.

  • Hole two on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 2 (342 ft.)

This beautiful fairway sports a fast, tight green with plenty of out-of-bounds areas, and a severe slope.

  • Hole three on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 3 (227 ft.)

A slightly uphill shot through a grove of tall pines gives plenty of options off the tee.

  • Hole four on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 4 (213 ft.)

This short but tricky shot starts at the far end of the little park at the college entrance and forces you to navigate plenty of obstacles.

  • Hole five on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 5 (222 ft.)

Beginning in a grassy area across from the park, this shot follows a narrow path up to the basket.

  • Hole six on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 6 (331 ft.)

This is a fairly open shot that starts under some shady trees, but beware of the pavement guarding both sides.

  • Hole seven on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 7 (269 ft.)

This is an attractive birdie opportunity, beginning up near the campus entrance and soaring down toward a grove of tall trees.

  • Hole eight on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 8 (407 ft.)

This hole forces you around the grove of trees from hole 7 and ends at the basket placed precariously on the side of a hill.

  • Hole nine on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 9 (536 ft./Par 4)

This is the longest hole on the course and the first of the two par 4 holes. A tight tee placement opens up onto a huge field that calls for some powerful throws.

  • Hole fourteen on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 14 (293 ft.)

This hole plays longer than it is. Your disc has to make it through the pine tree gap, up over the hill, and then onto a well-protected green.

  • Hole fifteen on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 15 (238 ft.)

A straightforward shot here needs to traverse an asphalt stream.

  • Hole sixteen on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 16 (258 ft.)

If you successfully get your disc through these forest guardians, you'll find the basket on a hillside surrounded by more trees.

  • Hole seventeen on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 17 (381 ft./Par 4)

The second par 4 on the course, this long sloping hole is a lumberjack's delight.

  • Hole eighteen on the disc golf course at HCC

    HOLE 18 (180 ft.)

The finishing hole is a short ace run that's filled with peril for an errant disc. There's even a small stream that presents a water hazard off to the left.
