HCC provides a range of academic support services to help our students succeed.
Tutoring
The Center for Academic Program Support (CAPS) provides free assistance to all HCC students through tutoring, writing, ESL, and math centers, study groups, ongoing study skills workshops, and more.
New Directions
New Directions for Adult Learners serves students age 24 and older, parents, and veterans, including those who have been out of school for many years.
Disability & Deaf Services
If you are a disabled or Deaf student, OSDDS will help you access needed accommodations and support services.
Multicultural Academic Services (MAS)
If you're coming to HCC from a local high school, you may qualify for MAS support services.
ALANA Men in Motion
ALANA provides academic support, mentoring, and counseling to African American, Latino, Asian, and Native American men.
STRIVE
TRIO Student Support Services offers an array of support services for students who are first generation to college, low-income, or have a documented disability.
ESL Support
The goal of AESL is for students to improve their academic English language skills to succeed in college and their careers.
